Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 - Travel to Mgahinga
Early morning departure from Kampala to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Scenic drive through southwestern Uganda. Arrive at luxury lodge for dinner and briefing.
Day 2 - Gorilla Trekking Day
Early morning briefing at park headquarters. Trek into the forest to find mountain gorillas. Spend one hour with the gorillas. Afternoon cultural experience with Batwa people.
Day 3 - Volcano Hiking Adventure
Full day hiking one of the extinct volcanoes (Muhabura, Gahinga, or Sabyinyo). Spectacular views across three countries. Return to lodge for overnight.
Day 4 - Departure
Optional morning golden monkey tracking or visit to local community projects. Return journey to Kampala with lunch en route.
