About Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Uganda's most treasured destinations. This ancient rainforest is home to approximately 459 mountain gorillas, representing nearly half of the world's remaining population.

The park's dense, misty forests provide the perfect habitat for these gentle giants, along with over 120 mammal species, 350 bird species, and countless plant species. Gorilla trekking here is considered one of the world's most profound wildlife experiences.
